Experiencing a traumatic event personally and vicariously can leave a lasting impact and lead to physiological as well as psychological changes. These changes can cause one to feel disconnected from their own body and in a constant state of hyperarousal or hypoarousal. During trauma therapy one can expect a focus on receiving psychoeducation on the effects of trauma, exploring ways to expand your window of tolerance and repair the connection to self; utilizing tools such as invitational somatic work, expressive arts, and narrative therapy.
Support for navigating all types of relationships. The aims of relationship therapy include:providing clients with tools for more effective communication, helping clients rediscover and strengthen intimacy in romantic relationships, as well as receiving assistance mediating conflict with a partner, friend, or family member.
Play Therapy interventions may include: expressive arts, movement, games, music, writing, and more. Play is healing for all ages and is important in every stage of life. Play is a powerful way for folks who may not have the verbal language to express themselves and do so through nurturing their creativity. Complexity and nuance can be expressed through art without limitations. As Kevin O'Connor says: "Play is an art-form that allows for self-expression."
A non-judgmental and affirming container to discuss topics related to sexual intimacy, receive psychoeducation and resources related to sexual health topics, and overcome shame related to desires. I work especially well with folks who are navigating polyamorous, non-monogamous relationships, kink, folks first navigating BDSM, and folks in 24/7 D/s dynamics that are seeking knowledgeable and affirming support.

Being outside can be incredibly grounding and calming. Walk and talk sessions are a co-regulating embodiment exercise meant to encourage activation of the parasympathetic nervous system. Some people feel more comfortable discussing vulnerable topics while walking side by side with a therapist. Park sessions are another outdoor therapy option. Park sessions resemble a picnic, one can expect to sit on the grass and enjoy custom-blended teas while having session.
